The catalyst for this film is a sound recording from the 1980s that was captured during a birthday party at the workers’ collective ALTB. Recitations of Popular Songs are heard amidst various other sounds. This recording became the basis for a video which is, at the same time, comparative (then and now) and expositive, by depicting the metamorphosis of the space. The Association played a fundamental role in the lives of all the workers of Barrosa, and also for their daughters and sons.
