Gonçalo Nogueiro Neves, 24 years old, was born in Coimbra, and graduated with a degree in Cinema from the University of Beira Interior – having received a Letter of Recommendation from the Course Director. At the moment, he is in the first year of a Master in Sound and Image, with a specialization in Cinema and Audiovisuals from the Catholic University of Porto (UCP). So far, he has worked on several projects and short films as the director of photography on all of them, with the exception of “Muletas” by Luís de Campos (screenwriter of “A Funeral to the Rain”). One of his photographs served as a poster for it. In this project, he was assistant director of photography to Fábio Guerreiro. He also directed some experimental films: “Ponta Negra”, “Ghosts, Records & Recreations”, “City // Gardens”, “25 Hours In a Day” and other films in the academic field. In addition to these works, he had photographs exhibited in two exhibitions.
