Daniela Fortuna graduated in Multimedia Art, with a focus on animation, from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Her path focuses mainly on drawing and animation, having already exhibited in several places. In 2015, she was part of a group of artists from Galeria Malapata. In the same year, she was invited to participate as an illustrator for the magazine Cão Celeste and, recently, invited to make the cover for the magazine Telhados de Vidro. In 2016, she directed an animated short film in partnership with FBAUL and Museu Bordalo Pinheiro. In 2017, for the first time, she exihibited the animated short film “Habitado” at MU.SA – Museu das Artes de Sintra, which now is part of the museum collection. This short film has been integrated into the programming of several festivals and events dedicated to cinema. A standout is the Festival Cinema Luso-Brasileiro from Santa Maria da Feira, from which it received an honorable mention of the jury.
